  • Manage, coach and mentor a team of procurement colleagues undertaking a wide range of projects and tasks delivering compliant and cost-effective procurement, contributing to the development of the team and advising on best practice to achieve desired project outcomes.
  • Work with stakeholders/project teams to develop service specifications and appropriate contractual terms in preparation for tender processes.
  • Take a lead role in the support of corporate and departmental cross-cutting projects outside of procurement as part of multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure that due regard is given to procurement and commercial factors, the ability and capacity of the market, and commercial risks.
  • Deputise for TfW Head of Procurement by acting as a point of contact to TfW contract owners, Programme and Project Manager for complex enquiries and requirements regarding procurement or supply chain to ensure a timely resolution and minimal impact on TfW's service delivery.
