A leading mobile game development company in Paris is looking for a 2D Game Artist to support the visual direction of their games. The ideal candidate has proven experience in mobile games and strong hands-on skills in Unity, capable of producing high-quality in-game assets. You will be working closely with the Art Director on projects like 'Monster Survivors'. This role offers competitive benefits including healthcare and wellness activities.
Founded in 2013, Voodoo is a tech company that creates mobile games and apps with a mission to entertain the world. Gathering 800 employees, 7 billion downloads, and over 200 million active users, Voodoo is the #3 mobile publisher worldwide in terms of downloads after Google and Meta. Our portfolio includes chart‑topping games like Mob Control and Block Jam, alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.
You will join a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to elevating the most promising game concepts emerging from our prototyping teams. The studio’s mission is to take high‑potential prototypes and turn them into successful, market‑ready titles. Your first project will be Monster Survivors, a game that already shows strong momentum thanks to its solid core gameplay and engaging mechanics. This is a unique opportunity to join a project with real traction, while still having a major impact on its artistic direction and production quality.
As a 2D Game Artist (Generalist), you will work closely with the Art Director and the team to produce high‑quality in‑game assets and implement them directly into Unity. This is a hands‑on production role, focused on shipping content efficiently and improving the game’s visual experience through iteration.
Strong hands‑on experience in Unity (not occasional exposure). Ability to produce game‑ready content with a strong focus on efficiency, iteration, and implementation.
