YOUR ROLE
COLORS has succeeded in building a platform that supports and celebrates creative talent around the world. We’re currently searching for an Artist Relations Manager to play a central role in building and maintaining strong relationships with artists, their teams, and partners, while managing releases across COLORS’ platforms. This role bridges artist-facing communication, internal coordination, and creative curation to ensure impactful rollouts and long-term artist engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
ARTIST RELATIONS MANAGER
- The Artist Relations role is to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists and their key stakeholders - serving as the central point of contact for both current and alumni artists, while facilitating additional artist-facing opportunities across COLORS
- Experience bridging the needs and opportunities of COLORS as well as artists, management teams and labels. Understanding how to build, structure, and guide effective collaborations between all sides.
- Develop and implement strategies that elevate the artist experience across all COLORS offerings and negotiate partnership opportunities.
- Drive artist-facing campaigns and rollouts, proactively creating and facilitating opportunities to maximize impact around A COLORS SHOW releases.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution - from pre-production to release. Including setting timelines, tracking progress, and coordinating content needs.
- Manage the release schedule for COLORS and related projects in collaboration with Curation, Platform Management, Distribution, Production and IRL.
- Provide clear and consistent communication to artists and internal teams, gathering updates and approvals throughout the rollout process.
- Coordinate content approvals and ensure timely distribution of assets across all stakeholders.
- Be on set during productions (in the location where the Studios are based) to ensure smooth operations and foster strong relationships with artists and partners.
- Manage and evolve operational workflows within the Artist Relations team, streamlining review systems and supporting goal setting, tracking, and performance alignment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 5+ proven years of work experience in artist relations, A&R, culture, or label/project management within the music industry and/or adjacent
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A sharp eye for emerging talent and cultural trends, with a passion for music discovery and curation.
- Comfortable navigating both creative and operational aspects of artist projects.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working across departments and balancing multiple stakeholders.
- Has strong communication skills in English & German (with any other European languages being a plus), especially when aligning with internal departments and external partners.
- Has an interest & and is attuned to both the COLORS brand and wider landscape of music, culture, fashion and lifestyle.
