• Teaching swimming to every class in the school
• Managing the work of the swimming assistant
• Ensuring the children are supervised at all times
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Organizing and participating in galas and other sports-related activities
• Liaising with class teachers and classroom assistants over the care and supervision of children prior to, during, and after lessons
• Running extra-curricular provision
• To ensure that at all times a member of staff is watching the children in the water but not teaching a group

• UAE approved Swimming Coach Certificate
• First Aid Certificate and CPR knowledge

• To be a competent instructor, able to support the needs of all learners.
• To be qualified to teach swimming.
• To be a qualified lifeguard.
