This leadership position is responsible for overseeing and enhancing our sports programs while leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum. A strong background in sports management, education, and leadership will play a pivotal role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop a strategic vision for the sports department and Physical Education curriculum that aligns with the school's overall educational goals.
- Lead the planning and execution of sports events, tournaments, and inter-school competitions to showcase students' athletic achievements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate sports and physical education into the school's broader educational strategy.
- Sports Program Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sports department, including staff management, budget allocation, and facility maintenance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students participating in sports activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive sports environment that encourages participation, skill development, and sportsmanship.
- Curriculum Development:
- Design, review, and enhance a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum that caters to different age groups and promotes physical fitness, motor skills, and healthy lifestyles.
- Integrate modern teaching methodologies, technology, and best practices to create engaging and effective PE classes.
- Staff Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor sports coaches and Physical Education instructors to ensure they provide high-quality instruction and guidance to students.
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to staff members to enhance their teaching and coaching abilities.
- Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with parents, students, and community stakeholders to promote the importance of physical education and sports in a well-rounded education.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sports program management, preferably in an educational setting.
