PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To lead and manage the procurement activities for electrical systems and equipment in oil and gas EPC projects ensuring compliance with project requirements, client standards (ADNOC), and industry best practices. The role requires effective coordination with engineering vendors and project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead the end-to-end procurement process for electrical equipment and materials including vendor selection, RFQ preparation, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
2. Collaborate with project engineering teams to align procurement specifications with project requirements and technical standards.
3. Manage vendor prequalification and maintain an approved vendor list in compliance with ADNOC requirements.
4. Ensure timely delivery of procured items to meet project schedules and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
5. Conduct cost analyses and negotiate terms to optimize procurement budgets without compromising quality.
6. Review and approve technical and commercial documentation including purchase orders and vendor agreements.
7. Monitor vendor performance and coordinate inspections and testing to ensure quality compliance.
8. Maintain accurate procurement records, prepare regular progress reports, and provide updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
9. Ensure strict adherence to ADNOC standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
2. 10-15 years of experience in procurement for oil and gas EPC projects with a strong focus on electrical systems and equipment.
3. Proven experience with ADNOC projects is mandatory.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical equipment specifications, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient in using procurement software and ERP systems.
7. Must be immediately available to join.
