Key Responsibilities:
Frontline Leadership in Operations
- Represent Emirates Flight Catering at the Emirates Network Control Centre (NCC), leading daily operations and proactively managing disruption scenarios 24/7.
- Oversee and coordinate EKFC operations in alignment with the strategic guidance of NCC to ensure synergy and seamless operations.
Real-Time Decision-Making and Coordination
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between EKFC and NCC for real-time responses to disruptions, emergencies, and schedule changes.
- Rapidly assess operational impacts and communicate updates to all relevant stakeholders, safeguarding OTP and quality standards.
Resource Optimization
- Adjust catering provisions and resource allocation based on updated flight schedules and passenger capacity to minimize waste and ensure service efficiency.
Operational Oversight and Compliance
- Oversee day-of-operations activities across all EKFC functions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of catering services in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Precision Time Schedules (PTS), and other KPIs.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant standards, regulatory requirements, and governance protocols during incident reviews and escalations.
- Report on operational challenges and successes to enhance communication and coordination between EK and EKFC.
- Lead efforts in identifying potential risks, gaps, and opportunities, implementing recovery and mitigation plans while driving innovation in processes and technologies.
Business Continuity Management
- Develop and manage EKFC's Business Continuity Plan to ensure the organization's readiness to respond effectively to disruptions while maintaining the highest service levels.
Industry Analysis and Adaptation
- Monitor local and international airport catering trends, regulations, and industry advancements to ensure competitive and compliant operational strategies.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an accomplished leader with a track record of driving large-scale operational success. To excel in this role, you'll need:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred certifications: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, IOSH, and airport safety certifications.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years in a managerial role within a high-pressure, time-sensitive service delivery environment, such as airline catering operations, large-scale logistics, or airport airside operations.
Skills:
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and engage diverse, multicultural teams across various locations.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to manage operational complexities effectively.
