IT Support Engineer - End-User & Desktop Specialist
Job summary
A leading offshore engineering company located in Singapore is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive end-to-end Desktop Support Managed Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical support to end-users, managing IT asset inventories, and troubleshooting both software and hardware issues. The ideal applicant will have a degree in Computer Science or related fields and at least 3 years of experience in IT within the offshore or project-based industry. Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT work for a midsize or large company.
- Preferably experience in similar industry (Offshore, Oil & Gas).
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for end-user services.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of desktops and peripherals.
- Manage IT assets and keep inventory updated.
- Install and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and applications.
- Resolving complex issues that others could not.
