Job Description:
For our steel and plastics manufacturing facility in Singapore we are seeking a Logistics Assistant to join our team onsite. Reporting to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for facilitating communication between production, sales and distribution.
Monitor the consumption of Warehouse/Logistic supplies and raise purchase requisition for replenishment
Monthly update of shipment booking information
Liaise with internal and external personnel on outbound shipments and ensure propershipment information are maintained
Liaise with courier service providers to ensure seamless delivery processes
Coordinate with customers’ training in charge to reserve safety training time slot
Monitor Warehouse/Logistic personnel safety permit expiry date and make suitable enrolment
Communicate course information to participants and address their queries
Maintain training matrix for Warehouse/Logistic team
Ensure logistic team manning chart is updated
Supporting cycle/inventory count
Maintain PPE issuing record and replenishment
Support daily operations tasks if required
