Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Provide both daily and strategic engineering oversight to the Operations team, ensuring effective maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.

• Collaborate with Facilities supervisors and managers to resolve building operation challenges and design issues.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of ACMV/HVAC air-conditioning systems.

• Ensure efficient management of maintenance programs and rectification tasks by a team of technical officers and technicians.

• Oversee the daily maintenance of AC thermal comfort, ensuring it remains within acceptable limits.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and health and safety regulations.

• Communicate project status of assigned tasks to Facilities supervisors, managers, technicians, and other relevant personnel.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to develop unique solutions to complex problems.

• Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, including systems for energy conservation.

• Prepare detailed reports and documentation.

• Create maintenance plans and schedules.

• Coordinate contractors for installation and maintenance projects.

• Inspect contractor work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Plan, schedule, and supervise Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities for ACMV equipment, prioritizing tasks and reallocating resources as necessary.

• Research systems and equipment, presenting findings to key stakeholders and decision-makers.

• Evaluate the efficiency of systems and equipment within the facility.

• Lead and participate in root cause analysis for equipment and system abnormalities, attend review meetings, and provide updates. Implement corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement, including the installation and modification of mechanical systems and equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ACMV or related fields.

• Knowledge of construction principles and building processes.

• Understanding of building regulations, health, and safety standards.

• Experience with project management principles.
