About the Role:
The Communications Planning Manager plays a crucial role within the APAC Colgate-Palmolive account, directly supporting the IMC Director in developing and executing innovative, data-driven media strategies that drive business growth across the APAC region. This role requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of media planning principles, digital expertise, and a passion for uncovering actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support in Development of Strategic Communications Planning: Providing comprehensive support in all aspects of strategic communications planning and campaign development. This includes developing presentations, conducting research & analysis, managing day-to-day client communications and project timelines.
- Co-create Campaign: Co-create media plans across various channels, ensuring alignment with Colgate-Palmolive's marketing objectives. Ensure consistent application of division strategies and best practices, shaping local plans that account for hub business requirements and nuances. This includes audience and media planning, media innovation, budget management, and campaign tracking to derive actionable insights.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the broader APAC Hub team, including offline and online planners and Subject Matter Experts (Audience, Social & Influencer, Programmatic, Search, eCommerce), to ensure seamless campaign execution across markets. Maintain strong communication by providing regular updates on campaign progress and performance.
- Media Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the media landscape, across paid, owned, earned regardless of online or offline. Stay up-to-date on the latest media trends and technologies to inform media strategies.
- Research & Analysis: Utilize research tools and platforms to gather consumer behaviour insights and media performance data. Translate these insights into actionable recommendations for campaign planning.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with client and agency partners (creative, digital, influencer, shopper, and PR agencies) to ensure an integrated and cohesive campaign plan.
What you’ll bring:
- Media Planning Fundamentals: Solid understanding of media planning principles, including laws of growth, media sufficiency, cross-channel planning and audience understanding.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate both media and consumer behaviour insights from research tools and platforms. Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Agility & Multi-tasking: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with agility to adapt to evolving business needs.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong critical and strategic thinking with the ability to challenge norms and push boundaries to solve problems.
- Proactive & Results-Oriented: A proactive, results-driven attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Passion for Media & Marketing: A genuine passion for media and marketing, with a desire to stay current on the latest trends and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in media planning and execution, preferably within an agency environment. Experience with FMCG clients is a plus.
- Experience with media planning tools and software.
- Multi-market Experience is essential.
