- Ensure a tidy place upon completion of the work on site.
- Examine and prepare samples for testing.
- Operate and perform testing on construction materials.
- Issue testing instructions to technicians and assistant technicians.
- Carry out tests and check the test results.
- Calculate and check the test results and assist in the preparation of the report.
- Review final test reports as directed by the Head of Operations.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment in the department.
- Follow up on newly or updated standard test methods to ensure that changes are implemented accordingly.
- Follow up Quality Control charts for measurements.
- Estimate measurement uncertainty.
- Carry out sampling and testing on site.
- Assist in the training of Technicians and Assistant Technicians.
