About This Role

This is a critical position within the organization and will be tasked with managing key digital projects. They will oversee and champion multiple initiatives at a time, and apply project management knowledge, skills, tools, and suave to deliver project phases from discovery to launch. This position requires a person who can roll up their sleeves and make things happen. They’re industrious, communicates well, extremely thorough and organized, and has the drive to deliver cross-functional and globally executed projects in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Collect requirements in the Business Requirements Document (BRD), and ensure these requirements are ultimately delivered as planned.
2. Maintain and monitor comprehensive project plans and schedules for assigned projects.
3. Be accountable for visibility through frequent communication and accurate reporting to stakeholders and regional teams.
4. Drive results and mitigate delays and risks through proactive project management.
5. Facilitate the planning, monitoring, testing, and delivery of project efforts between all necessary teams and functions.
6. Thoroughly take notes to capture the conversation, key decisions, and follow-up items from project meetings.
7. Partner with functional and regional teams across the Ria enterprise to identify priorities, implement assigned projects, and communicate the roadmap.
8. Demonstrate passion to continuously improve our processes and projects by being organized, innovative, a reliable and collaborative team player, and a delightful human being.

Position Requirements

Skills and Abilities

1. Understanding of project management methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
2. Ability to understand business processes and business implications of decisions; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition.
3. Excels in fast-paced environments with frequently changing priorities by being agile and exhibiting reliable planning, organization, and communication skills.
4. Strong interpersonal skills; can work well and communicate with a diverse range of individuals.
5. Industrious and able to develop “out of the box” solutions to solve problems.
6. Persistent and results focused; must be able to deliver results in an environment which requires a high tolerance for ambiguity.
7. Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
8. Willingness to learn and be a part of the Ria family.

Experience

1. 3-5 years as a Project Manager or similar role.
2. Work(ed) in the financial industry or with digital platforms (mobile, web).
3. Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
4. Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
5. Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
6. Results-oriented track record for monitoring and coordinating projects.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Hands-on experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence).
