Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning and engage in research activities to contribute to the academic excellence of IMU.
- Deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, and other teaching methods to undergraduate and postgraduate students. This includes incorporating problem-based learning, practical laboratory demonstrations, fieldwork, and e-learning techniques, with a growing emphasis on multimedia technologies.
- Participate in academic management tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.

Candidates must specialise in any of the above disciplines. Candidates must have recognised basic and post-graduate degrees in the respective disciplines and with relevant working experience. Candidate should possess MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council and a post-graduate qualification recognised by National Specialist Register of Malaysia.

Responsibilities
- Teach and develop courses within the Master of Counselling program.

Requirements
- A Ph.D. in any field, including Counselling, combined with a Master’s degree in Counselling or Counselling Psychology.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Counselling is required.
- Must be a registered counsellor under Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM).
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
- Demonstrated record of 5-10 publications in indexed journals.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision to trainee counsellors or counsellors, and training in clinical supervision.
- Experience in leading academic projects or research teams.
- Experience in mentoring and supervising students.
- Experience in securing research grants and managing research funding.
- Experience with academic administration, including curriculum development and committee involvement.
