In this role, you will be the point of contact for the identified Division(s), to advise on employee relations matters including but not limited to coaching, counselling, investigations, disciplinary matters, managing poor performance, grievances, termination and employment legislation. You will collaborate with HRBPs to ensure the business adopts an effective approach in managing matters in relations to employee relations.

Accountabilities

  • As the Point of Contact for the identified Division(s) in relations to end-to-end management of disciplinary matters, you will:
  • Provide case resolution via the approved framework to determine disciplinary process and action.
  • Adhere to the due inquiry process which includes but not limited to conducting fact finding interviews, issuance of show cause, holding of domestic inquiries.
  • Partner with the relevant Investigation Officers within the Company, as and when required.
  • Investigate fraud red flags that are discovered during the course of scheduled audits by the Internal Assurance team, and to identify the control weakness that led to the fraud.
  • Ensure timely completion of the end-to-end due inquiry process in line with the case complexity matrix timeline.
  • Attend and manage Conciliation meetings held at Industrial Relations Department.
  • End-to-end Litigation case Management which includes but not limited to collation of Company Bundle of Documents, by being the liaison between the external legal counsel and the Company Witnesses.
  • As the Point of Contact for the identified Division(s) in relations to end-to-end management of poor performance management, you will:
  • Take the lead and collaborate with the HRBPs & Performance Management Team in managing PIP & non-confirmation cases.
  • Collaborate with the Performance Management Team to come up with Performance Management Workshop for People Managers.
  • Company-wide Education and Awareness campaigns:
  • Spearheading campaign on a periodic basis, be it companywide of Division specific.
  • Projects driven by People & Organisation Division:
  • To assist and contribute to relevant project(s) from an employment law perspective.
  • To assist in implementing new employment laws and when enforced.
What do you need to have for this role?

  • You should have a formal Education in Bachelors Degree in Forensic, Law or LLB.
  • Specialised in: Industrial Relations / Legal Practice in Labour & Employment, CFE certification is an advantage.
  • Total Work Experience: 5-7 years of Industrial Relations/Labour & Employment. Experience in Forensic investigation & Risk Management is needed. Experience in Fraud Management is an added advantage.
  • Traits: Resilient, Good stakeholder management, good analytical and interviewing skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, good turn-around-time.
