About the role
The Brand Senior Specialist (3F) is responsible for enhancing the brand experience for both internal and external audiences. This involves delivering superior consumer content, maintaining brand identity, and ensuring alignment with GM Financial brands. The specialist optimizes resources, manages budgets, participates in key projects, and collaborates with stakeholders from General Motors and GM Financial globally.
Also, drives a customer-centric approach by developing content for key initiatives and executing high-end internal marketing. A crucial part of their role is integrating the Think Customer mind-set into daily operations through continuous engagement and promoting employee empowerment.
The Senior Specialist must set high standards of performance, maintain effectiveness during major changes, have ability to prioritize work, establish plans of execution, and implementing an organized work methodology to ensure proper traceability of tasks. Passion for creating positive impacts for customers is essential.
What you need
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Advertising, etc.
- Performance Standards: Demonstrated ability to set and maintain performance standards across projects, aligning efforts with organizational goals.
- Project Management: Strong track record in project management, including developing and executing plans that prioritize tasks for timely project completion.
- Team Leadership: Experience leading multifunctional and/or multicultural teams or individuals without formal authority.
- Agile Design: Comfort with designing within an agile design lifecycle.
- Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in marketing, brand implementation, and content creation, with a solid understanding of best practices in internal marketing strategies.
- Creative Agency Management: Proven experience in managing relationships with creative agencies, overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, and optimizing the use of allocated budgets.
- Global Collaboration: Demonstrated global experience, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams in different countries and navigate cultural nuances.
- Visual Aesthetics Expertise: Exceptional eye for design and visual aesthetics, with the ability to create visually compelling content that aligns with brand guidelines and enhances audience engagement.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with an expert eye for design and visual aesthetics, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
- Content Creation: Proficiency in content creation, including the development of content pillars and copywriting, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire audiences.
What you will be doing
- Brand Governance: Implement the Global Brand Governance accurately across all markets, ensuring alignment with parent brands and involving key stakeholders from General Motors and GM Financial.
- Brand Identity Management: Manage and maintain the brand identity, including the development and enforcement of brand guidelines and assets.
- Content Creation: Develop and execute content that aligns with the brand identity and resonates with the target audience.
- Content Oversight: Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content across multiple platforms in all markets, ensuring consistency and relevance.
- Agency and Budget Management: Manage relationships with creative and content agencies, ensuring optimal use of the allocated budget.
- Asset Management: Develop and maintain up-to-date brand experience assets.
- Action Plan Execution: Ensure the successful execution of defined action plans, monitoring progress, coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders, addressing challenges, and ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Guidance: Provide guidance and support to stakeholders and vendors for the correct implementation of brand and content strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other functional/departmental managers to ensure full visibility of goals, purposes, and achievements, supporting business requirements.
- Open Communication: Foster an open communication environment that encourages information sharing, values diverse viewpoints, and seeks input from others.
- Project Management: Develop comprehensive execution plans for service design projects, setting clear activities, expected outcomes, timelines, and milestones to ensure project success.
- Performance Standards: Establish clear performance standards for service initiatives, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Internal Initiatives: Drive the strategic creation and implementation of internal initiatives assigned to the area, supporting the positioning of these initiatives.
- Think Customer Integration: Integrate the Think Customer initiative into daily operations through continuous engagement, training, and promoting employee empowerment.
- Strategy Monitoring: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the implemented brand and content strategies, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
