We are looking to hire a Logistics Specialist focused on new launches with proficient Excel skills to join our team at San Luis Potosi.

1. Planning, coordination, and implementation of concepts for logistics, material, and information flows for Chassis Systems assembly operations by considering the principles of lean production.
2. Economic calculation and cost optimization of concepts and process projects in Logistics and Supply Chain management.
3. Support the design and development of plant layouts by using simulation tools.
4. Support the planning and procurement of logistical plant equipment.
5. Implement KPI reporting standards for Logistics within all ZF Div. C locations in North America, including retrieving data from plants, carrying out consistency checks, data tracking and consolidation, and reporting.
6. Run logistical supplier development within the region for all chassis systems locations; including organization, participation, and conducting of logistics audits at suppliers as well as definition, tracking, and support of action plans within the supply base. Initiation of countermeasures in case of escalation.
7. Support logistical development in North America within the field of profession developing and implementing improvement activities for the plants and within the supply chain, including application of ZFPS.
8. Participate in acquisition and implementation projects.
9. Execute packaging analysis and development for returnable packaging and one-way packaging to optimize economic results to support supply concepts.

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering field.
2. Demonstrated ability to utilize Excel Spreadsheets and calculation ability.
3. 2-3+ years of experience in a logistics or project management related background.
4. Solid PC skills: Specifically, Excel. Proficient computer skills/experience in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
5. Experience working in a global business environment. Good intercultural understanding.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. JiS Delivery Model experience is nice to have.
8. Auto-Cad experience is nice to have.
