What are my responsibilities?
As a Train Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety (RAMS) Engineer, you will be a valued member of a team ensuring our products are efficient, reliable, and safe, enabling complex transportation systems to operate daily. You will develop innovative methods for analyzing system designs and lead the complete RAMS process deployment on Rolling Stock projects and tenders.
This interdisciplinary role involves managing RAMS activities and resources throughout the project lifecycle—from tender to delivery and warranty—collaborating with engineering, industrial, sourcing, customers, railway authorities, and suppliers. Within Alstom, the RAMS function is key in designing technical solutions.

This role requires a balance of independence and strong collaboration skills. You should be eager to be involved in the overall rolling stock development from a technical and project management perspective. A deep technical understanding of your subjects and a collaborative problem-solving approach are essential.
