Honeywell is looking for Apprenticeship who will be trained in 24 months as Junior Field Service Engineer for our Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) division for Roma.

Your responsibilities:

• Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment such as building integration equipment, CCTV and access control system.
• Deliver proactive and measurable outcomes for our Customers with a focus on occupant comfort, energy consumption and building-asset performance utilizing Connected Service technologies and EBI.
• Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed.
• Install EBI, prepare graphics and necessary programming works as per specifications.
• Deliver proactive and measurable outcomes for our Customers with a focus on occupant comfort, energy consumption and building-asset performance utilizing Connected Service technologies and EBI.

Must have:

• You are under 29 and a student at university, field focused on IT, Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Fast learner.
• Eagerness to develop your career in an international company.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS.
• Basic knowledge of Virtual appliance such as VM Ware in ESXi environment.
• Basic knowledge of Programming languages (Visual Basic, Visual Basic Scripting).
• Good knowledge of PLC programming or Access control systems/Intrusion detections system/Fire Panels.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC principles.
• Good knowledge of Building integration software.
• Basic knowledge of standard protocols of the industry such as MODBUS, MODBUS RTU, BacNET, LonWorks, etc.
• Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity & network configuration.

Support the on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You typically work under direct supervision and may work without supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and escalate any discrepancies in customer requirements, blueprints, or work instructions. You will identify, escalate, and explore opportunities to improve the installation or repair procedures. You will escalate any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will support the training of the customer on proper usage for complex systems.
