Responsibilities
- Understand, support and drive the vision of the Brand through Brand Experiential Activation and Shopper/Commerce (alongside the account management & strategy planning team).
- Brand activation experience – managing, supervising, collaborating, and consulting with internal stakeholders and/or various expert partners such as digital/social (O2O), PR, media, boutique agencies (3rd party partners) in the subject of Brand Experience (offline/online) and Shopper/Commerce.
- Work collaboratively alongside key internal stakeholders to ensure a powerful, robust creative idea is supported with feasible but yet innovative/technological driven solutions (creative) that will elevate the brand and customer experience.
- Support the team by handling and managing multiple briefs at any one time and lead the smooth delivery of each project.
- Ensure projects follow the overall strategic direction of the brand.
- Direct the team and other departments on projects, strictly adhering to internal and client’s processes while leading all project delivery.
- Control and lead projects with financial targets and key project/campaign success measures/matrix in mind.
- Support and direct team members to ensure that all requirements are being met in terms of overall project delivery.
- Supervise and manage the delivery of the work from the account group.
- Think ahead and pro-actively plan out and assign workload on the business.
- Be the client's trusted partner by providing sound brand experience opportunities, trends, operations, production and management consultation. Take a lead in clients’ brand/customer experiential activation strategies.
- Develop, grow and nurture junior clients.
- Constantly share best practices with clients and internal VML team.
- Ensure the timely delivery of services and products to clients.
- Lead and inspire those outside of the core team, including creative teams and those in other agencies working on the same account.
Qualifications
- Ability to put together presentations and has the confidence to present to head of marketing/key stakeholders.
- Able to lead and inspire their team, the wider agency, clients, and other external partners.
- Active in participating and contributing ideas/opinions in meetings with clients or internal stakeholders.
- Soundboard and advisor to the clients.
- A mentor to the team.
- Commercially savvy and looks for growth opportunities.
- Demonstrable experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements.
- Good at evaluating creative work and unlocking opportunities; able to give and receive feedback to support its development.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress.
- Ability to manage complicated processes and good with paperwork.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in advertising/event agencies or equivalent.
- Experience in branding, on-ground/online brand experience activation project management, and BTL will be an added advantage.
