The Visual Merchandiser – Rimmel, will have the opportunity to work on Coty's largest Cosmetics brand ensuring Rimmel is presented in-store in the most inspirational yet clearly navigable way that makes our brands the most desirable to our target consumer vs our competition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for looking after Rimmel Grocery and Pharmacy in-store permanent and semi-permanent merchandising as well as management of our Aftermarket service. You will plan and implement all aspects of visual merchandising. This includes updates (Advertising & Consumer Promotions), new stand development (CAPEX) as well as promotional representation of the brand in-store across many retailers on our Grocery accounts.

Your main focus:

• Leading the delivery of all Grocery & Pharmacy permanent and semi-permanent visual merchandising execution for Rimmel end to end, giving your proposals for the designs overall visual look and feel and functionality, acting as a brand guardian with approval from the VM Leader.
• Take lead from the Highstreet merchandising equity/artwork to deliver consistency in execution across the Grocery & Pharmacy retailers.
• Develop a strong knowledge of the market to share with global team counterparts and influence their brand design to suit the UK market.
• Validate Global Merchandising guidelines for in-store execution.
• For the Grocery and Pharmacy retailers, drive store updates strategy for Rimmel, delivering best in class planograms in line with the strategy and the expectations of the stakeholders. Overseeing the integration of new products into the fixture during regular range updates, working within our brand guidelines to ensure optimum presentation and impact.
• Own the forecast and planning of the Grocery and Pharmacy portion of the A&C budget, tracking monthly spend versus budget and finding ways to spend smartly. Supports the VM Leader on the total brand Merchandising budget for Rimmel.
• Create all Purchase orders for CAPEX, Product launches/Stand updates and Ad-hoc activity.
• Responsible for Managing Aftermarket / maintenance of stands in-store. Managing the agencies looking after Coty Aftermarket service to ensure existing fixtures in store are well maintained and functioning as they should.
• Innovative thinking to future-proof our way of working with streamlined processes.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to work independently and in a team, and have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers. As an experienced Visual Merchandiser, you are capable of working under pressure in a changing environment and to manage unexpected changes, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.

Other than that, you will possess:

• Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with a strong level of complexity and a wide range of partners.
• Experience in In-store strategy/Merchandising or Trade Marketing or Marketing with a strong passion for In-store and Beauty.
• Strong attention to detail - creative eye / appreciation of aesthetics.
• Knowledge of beauty industry and willingness to constantly be aware of the latest trends & news.
• Knowledge of shoppers, competitors and retailers in order to design the brand merchandising and enable its implementation in the market.
• Analytical thinking and numerical skills – creating outstanding presentations.
• Ability to read Technical/ Manufacturing drawings.
• Technical knowledge of materials.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite package beneficial but not essential.
