Job Description

Process Safety Engineer - £45,000 - £60,000 Plus Bonus - Wolverhampton based 3 times per week, with travel occasionally to Saudi Arabia (all expenses paid). Multi site position.

We are working with a leading global manufacturer of a wide range of chemicals, mainly manufacturing performance additives. This business has 20 sites globally, with 1,000 employees. This client is looking to grow the team with a Process Safety Engineer - someone who is driven, ambitious, and keen to progress and develop their career. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to have a huge impact on a global business.

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses and Layer of Protection Analyses (LOPAs).
2. Provide process safety expertise and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Drive safety improvements across two sites - the UK and Saudi Arabia.
4. Address gaps in process safety information and documentation.
5. Deliver process safety training and risk management support for all facilities within the business.

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
2. A strong set of Process Safety Engineering skills.
3. Experience working on a COMAH site.
4. Flexibility for travel to Saudi Arabia.
5. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
6. Experience of PHA and LOPA facilitation.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
