- Perform regular maintenance and inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with the operations team and engineering team to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
- Experience creating and adhering a Total Productive Maintenance plan and other Preventive Maintenance schemes.
- Experience in continuous improvement from a maintenance and engineering perspective - exposure to new machinery or new site commissioning is always a plus!
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and completed repairs.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have :
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
- Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proven experience in working within a TMP or PM plans within food manufacturing.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
