Business Development Manager - Pharma/OTC

Job Description

The Business Development Manager - Pharma/OTC will develop the existing, extensive customer portfolio which includes large retail partners in the UK, identifying and onboarding new business opportunities for growth allowing the business to fulfill its strategic commercial objectives. The BDM will be the conduit between the retailers and their manufacturing arm, planning and informing to hit these goals.

In addition, the BDM will:

• identify and execute strategies to secure new customer relationships
• provide comprehensive Relationship Management, acting as the principal POC in all customer matters
• ensure customer contracts and pricing are effectively negotiated
• conduct regular sales forecasting, analysis and reporting on commercial objectives and customer plans
• play a key role in reporting to the SLT
• maintain and effectively use and update the CRM
• stay on top of trends, developing networks and contacts in the industry to support business development opportunities
• work closely with the customer service team

The Successful Applicant

The Business Development Manager - Pharma/OTC will come with the following skills and experiences:

• a proven track record in a sales management or business development capacity in the healthcare/pharma/OTC sectors
• strong and proven
