Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced School IT Technician for a full-time role based in Birmingham. This position requires you to ensure that the school's ICT areas are operational daily and support end users in resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will possess solid ICT knowledge and demonstrate strong communication skills. The role begins in January and offers the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Sound understanding and relevant experience of ICT and computing, both software and hardware.
- Demonstrable good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure ICT areas are ready for use each day.
- Provide user support by assessing incoming incidents.
- Check hardware regularly and report faults.
- Maintain accurate records within the incident monitoring system.
