A leading multi-academy trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Curriculum Lead for E-Sports and Computing to join their special education team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with Autism and SEND, possess QTS/QTLS, and demonstrate the ability to deliver a comprehensive computing curriculum. The Trustees are looking to recruit a Curriculum lead for E‑Sports and computing curriculum lead with QTS/QTLS. This role will start at Heywood Academy, a 75‑placement special school within the New Bridge Multi‑Academy Trust, which provides tailored educational support for young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and / or who may experience Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN).
As a leading specialist post‑16 provider in Oldham, Tameside and Rochdale, the Trust offers an inclusive culture of teamwork and continuous development. The School offers a broad and balanced curriculum for students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, with a focus on creative learning that caters to the needs of students with ASC/SLCN and mild/moderate learning difficulties.
Salary: Teachers’ Pay Scale + TLR2a (£3,527 pa) + SEN (£2,787 pa).
Hours of work: Full‑time.
Location: Heywood Academy (initially), but staff may be required to work at any site within the New Bridge Group.
Commencing: September 2026.
