A leading leather manufacturing company in Bridge of Weir is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Co-ordinator. In this role, you will oversee the efficient coordination and dispatch of goods, working closely with the manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and high customer service standards. Successful candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills and experience in a related logistics role. This position requires attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
We are seeking a dedicated Dispatch Co-ordinator to join our team in Bridge of Weir, Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient coordination and dispatch of goods, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. You will work closely with our manufacturing and logistics teams to streamline operations and maintain high standards of customer service. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing daily dispatch activities, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise during the dispatch process. This position requires attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
To be successful you will need:
Oversee the efficient coordination and dispatch of goods, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time
Work closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to streamline operations and maintain high customer service standards
Manage daily dispatch activities, track shipments, and resolve issues during the dispatch process
Demonstrate attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Proven experience in manufacturing operations or a related logistics role
Strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in using dispatch and inventory management systems
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
