Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is a provider of specialist health care and has a presence in community outreach sites. To lead the inpatient and dysphagia speech and language therapy service and provide day-to-day line management and ensure effective service delivery.
Day-to-day management of inpatient and dysphagia SLT service.
As one of Europe’s biggest and busiest children’s hospitals, we treat everything from common illnesses to highly complex and specialist conditions. We also provide specialist inpatient care for children with complex mental health needs.
Job Summary:
Provision of a high level of clinical and professional leadership for the Acute Speech and Language therapy services within the Medicine Division. To support the delivery of a high quality and safe service with a positive working experience for staff and service users.
To be an advanced clinical specialist and lead for the dysphagia and inpatient services within the hospital.
All relevant members of the patient care team, Divisional Management teams, external providers, and commissioners of Paediatric healthcare.
