A healthcare research organization in Greater London seeks an experienced health services researcher to evaluate the impact of Martha's Rule in NHS hospitals. The role will involve overseeing qualitative data collection, designing research protocols, and conducting analysis to improve patient safety. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in Health Services Research and experience with qualitative data methods. The position offers a full-time contract with a competitive salary ranging from £56,276 to £63,176 per year.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health services researcher to contribute to research in the important area of patient safety, as part of the NIHR North West London Patient Safety Research Collaboration.
A key part of the role will involve evaluation of the impact of Martha's Rule in NHS hospitals. The post holder will also support other research studies. The role will include protocol design, obtaining ethics approvals, piloting data collection methods, data collection and analysis, report writing and dissemination, all within the important area of patient safety.
A key project will be to contribute to the evaluation of the impact of Martha's Rule in NHS hospitals. This will involve qualitative data collection in different clinical areas in two NHS hospitals and working with the wider research team to ensure consistency of data collection across all participating sites.
