Relationship Manager - French or German Speaking

Our client, a rapidly growing FinTech, is seeking a proactive and driven German or French-speaking Relationship Manager to join their growing team.

Job Title: Relationship Manager (German or French-Speaking)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Salary: up to £65k (depending on experience and skill set)

This role is focused on managing and developing relationships within the world’s largest insurance markets.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring clients maximize the use of their platform while driving engagement and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 40 insurance customers and platform users, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Demonstrate the value of their platform through strategic conversations on product development, service levels, and business growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Client Services, Operations, and Product, to ensure client needs are met efficiently.
  • Drive adoption of Faster Claims Payments (FCP) across Lloyd’s market Brokers and TPAs, supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  • Identify trends and optimize payment flows to enhance the client experience.
  • Provide feedback and contribute to product strategy based on client insights.
  • Guide junior team members and support the Head of Relationship Management on key business initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in German or French (spoken and written) is required.
  • Proven experience in relationship management, account management, or sales, ideally within financial services or insurance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a strategic mindset.
