Remote Night Field Service Engineer, Imaging Diagnostics
Job summary
A leading diagnostics company is seeking a Service Engineer Digital Technologies to deliver high-quality technical service remotely from Madrid. Responsibilities include maintaining laboratory instruments, providing remote customer support, and collaborating with the sales team for installations and training. Candidates should have field service experience, a solid understanding of network configurations, and knowledge of Windows and Linux systems. This position may require overnight travel.
Qualifications
- Experience in Field Service or a related field, preferably in medical devices.
- Knowledge of network configuration including firewalls and TCP/IP.
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMs, and working knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with Digital Pathology Integration solutions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of laboratory instruments.
- Visit customers for installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Provide remote support to reduce customer downtime.
- Deliver on-site installation of Imaging Solutions, including network configuration.
- Collaborate with sales team for customer training and installations.
