About Klar

• Klar is the Data Operating System for growing eCommerce companies - Klar gives eCom brands a holistic understanding of their business across their three main drivers of growth - customer acquisition, retention and profitability.
• We work with over 1.000 eCom brands - leading brands like Sunday Natural, Loop Earplugs, Holy, Maniko, Armed Angels and hundreds more use Klar to make better decision every day.
• We deeply empathise with the struggles of our customers - after having worked most of the last 10 years in e-commerce companies, we know their pain and built Klar to help.

About The Position

Next to our software, we have running the eCom Unity, Germany’s largest eCommerce community with 2.000+ active operators.

Right now, the community is centered around a joint slack space and around 20+ events that we organise throughout the year like our pre-OMR meet up with 150 eCom operators.

For this next phase, we want to essentially turn the eCom Unity into it’s own media asset driving massive value for its members and exposure for Klar in the process establishing us as the authority for eCom knowledge in Europe and beyond.

We are open to hear different ideas on how to do that but here is what we are currently thinking:

• eCom Unity Pod - we want to speak with the best brands on how they are growing their business. This won’t be your average “here is our founding story” podcast but we’ll cut straight to the chase to dive deep into operational topics.
• eCom Unity Newsletter - we can repurpose the content form the workshops, podcast and discussions from the community into a community newsletter where we share the biggest knowledge bombs with all members each week.
• eCom Unity Workshops - through our community and software, we have access to the best operators and agencies in eCom and want to organise online workshops where these can share their expertise. No high-level fluff but operational insights only.
• eCom Unity Content Streams - think of a Reforge but for eCom, member-generated content, TL;DRs, “Roast my pitchdeck”s, topic deep-dives and anything else that adds value to everyone in the community

As mentioned, the primary goal here is to drive value for our community members.

This community has been integral to our success thus far, and we believe in paying it forward.

About You

• You are among the best at what you do - we are looking for extraordinarily talented people that are looking to take their career and knowledge to the next level.
• You are passionate about eCom - there is not just a single background that is a great fit for this role, but one thing is for sure. The person we are looking for must love eCom.
• You are a great copywriter/content creator - most content you will produce yourself, will be written. So you should have excellent copywriting skills in English. Ideally, you are also happy to jump in front the camera to record video content (that will be edited by someone else).
• You optimize for learning - your main motivation at this point of your career is to learn as much as possible in broaden your tool set. You want to work with people of the same mindset and learn from each other.
• You are naturally curious - you have a wide range of interests that you like to explore and are open to constantly being exposed to something new.

Our Process

Since we are growing like crazy and have big plans, the starting date is ideally tomorrow. But for the right candidate, we are willing to wait. Quality always pays off.

Most of the process for this position will be handled by Valentine.

1. I review your application: Apart from your CV feel free to include a few words as to what motivates you to join Klar.
2. We get to know each other: We have a 30-minute meeting in which I will tell you more about our vision for Klar plus, we'll get to see whether both our expectations align.
3. We really get to know each other: We will have a second meeting together with Max, our CEO, in which we want to understand what drives you and where you want to be in the future. You can ask us anything you want - nothing is off the table. We will talk for as long as necessary and by the end of it we should both feel comfortable.
4. You meet the other Co‑Founders - ****we value strong fit and alignment within our team. This gives you and us a chance for a final check.
