We are currently looking for a highly motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in our MINT headquarters in Kiel, Germany!

As the market leader of Training Management Systems in the aviation industry, MINT Software Systems seeks an experienced IT professional to join our expanding team in the role of Quality Assurance Tester. Your role in our MINT family:

• Integrated into one of our multinational Scrum Development teams, you perform manual QA testing on our product
• You are responsible for creating, documenting, and maintaining test cases in cooperation with the other QA team members
• You will be working closely with the developers to test product changes during the sprint to assure the best product quality
• Together with the Scrum team, you will give valuable input during backlog refinements regarding QA related efforts and impacts
• You identify, record and document thoroughly, track bugs and perform thorough regression testing when the bugs are resolved

This is how you can impress us:

• You have an academic degree in the field of (business) information technology or a comparable degree relevant to the position or profound work experience in a related field
• You completed an ISTQB certificate or similar
• You bring profound knowledge and practical experience in functional and non-functional testing, and performance testing
• You are experienced in writing and executing manual test cases
• You have hands-on experience working with backend systems and databases, preferably AWS or other database technologies
• You know how to apply test management software (e.g. TestRail) and SQL
• You have knowledge and previous experiences with modern development practices such as CI/CD and cloud-based technology
• You have experience working with web, desktop, or mobile applications
• You are proficient in programming languages such as Java or JavaScript
• You are preferably familiar with tools like Selenium, Appium, or WebdriverIO, and Jenkins
• You have experience working with Jira, Scrum boards, or Kanban methodologies
• You have a pro-active and solution-oriented hands-on working style and technical experience solving security challenges
• You enjoy working in a team, have excellent people skills, and can communicate at all hierarchical levels in a manner appropriate to the target group
• You are willing to occasionally travel to MINT's international locations
• Your English language skills are great, both written and oral
• You are passionate about technology and security – you love keeping pace with the latest developments and thrive on change
