We're part of MAKAN, a broader startup redefining the home décor experience with innovative services like MAKAN Home, a furniture subscription service.

Since 2021, we've transformed over 5,000 homes and built a strong foundation backed by top investors. Now, we're expanding and looking for a Copywriter to join the Kurtains team to help us grow our digital presence, strengthen our brand, and drive customer engagement.

As a Copywriter at Kurtains, you'll be the voice behind our brand. You'll craft compelling, persuasive, and customer-focused content that drives engagement, improves conversions, and positions Kurtains as an industry leader.

• Write engaging email campaigns (e.g., welcome emails, promotions, abandoned cart follow-ups) to drive conversions.
• Create high-quality blogs and articles about curtains, home décor, and interior design to establish Kurtains as an authority in the market.
• Develop SEO-optimized website and landing page content that improves visibility and enhances the customer journey.
• Craft persuasive social media and ad copy that resonates with our target audience.
• Ensure brand consistency across all content and maintain a strong, recognizable voice for Kurtains.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and growth teams to align content strategies with business goals.

• Experience: 3+ years as a copywriter or content writer with a strong portfolio of email, blog, and website copy.
• Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
• Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo).
• Knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
• Soft Skills: Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communication.
• Language: Fluency in English and Arabic are required.
