Who We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer for our NJ office that will collaborate with our development team to implement our software solution—Speakcore. This individual will contribute to the expansion of our QA processes, playing a crucial role in helping to define and establish our test automation framework.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual or automated testing on key functionality to ensure any bugs are discovered prior to release to Production.
• Communicate any bugs or issues found to the software development team via tracking tools so that features can be released with the highest quality.
• Validate user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
• Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate the robustness and functionality of the software products to cover negative testing principles.
• Responsible for the creation of automated test cases.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation frameworks.
• Assist in maintaining and refactoring test cases, suites, and plans to ensure they remain current and continue to improve the structure, readability, and maintainability.
• Estimate work activity, deliver high-quality work within the established timeline, and ensure effective information flow throughout.
• Continuously research new testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or related experience.
• Successful in creating, updating, and executing test plans.
• Full understanding of Selenium, QA Automation tool (3-5 years).
• Comfortable using Cucumber testing tool.
• Working knowledge of a programming language, ideally Java (3-5 years).
• Familiar with page object model and behavior driven development.
• Expert in building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Fluent with Microsoft technologies, including Azure DevOps and SQL Server.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of bureau programs.

Location:

Our preference is a hybrid on-site in our offices in Pennington, NJ two days a week, and working remotely from home 3 days a week. We will consider fully remote work east coast hours for the ideal candidate.
