As a Strategy Consultant, you will work closely with senior leadership and clients across various industries to drive high-impact strategic initiatives. This role will require you to apply your analytical skills to identify growth opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and support market expansions. Proficiency in Japanese is essential to manage projects for our Japanese-speaking clients, facilitating cross-border collaboration and delivering tailored solutions.

• Client Engagement & Advisory:
  • Provide strategic recommendations to clients based on market research, data analysis, and business intelligence.
  • Lead client meetings and workshops in both Japanese and English, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
  • Develop actionable strategies for business growth, market entry, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning.
• Project Leadership & Execution:
  • Manage and execute multiple projects from end-to-end, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct thorough industry and market analysis to support strategic recommendations, particularly in the context of Southeast Asia and Japan.
• Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:
  • Identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the APAC region.
  • Develop detailed financial models, market assessments, and feasibility studies to support strategic decisions.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to gather relevant data for strategy formulation.
• Communication & Reporting:
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other deliverables for clients, ensuring clear articulation of insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with senior clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, managing client feedback and expectations effectively.

• Experience:
  • 3-4 years of experience in management consulting, strategy advisory, or a related field, preferably with exposure to clients in Japan or the APAC region.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic recommendations and driving business transformation for clients.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is a must.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), with the ability to conduct business in both languages seamlessly.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable working with senior executives and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural team environment, with a focus on collaboration and results.
  • Familiarity with strategic frameworks (e.g., SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, PESTEL) and market research techniques.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field from a reputable university (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
