We are a startup founded in 2019 by Luigi Visconti, who comes from 11 years of experience in Investment Backing and having served as a Vice President in UniCredit.
We closed a pre-seed funding round in Italy in 2023 (€223K), with participation from leading partners such as Bocconi, Casa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and Business Angels. Now, we have an open round of €1M and have already secured the first tranche of €580K (from CDP, Arriston, COIMA and Business Angels) and are now rapidly expanding on scale.
Thanks to unprecedented growth, just over a year after launch, we have scaled 3X in Net Revenues.
Italy is known for its complex rental market. This complexity is one of the key challenges that make property management inefficient. FreedHome’s mission is to eliminate the hassle of renting out properties in Italy. Managing rentals often means navigating unpredictable vacancies, handling tenant issues, and dealing with ever-changing regulations.
We are initially tackling the complexity of property rentals, where securing a long-term tenant can take up to two months, managing a vacation rental can demand up to 40 hours per week, and tenant delinquency rates remain as high as 7%. This inefficiency is one of the reasons why over 160 million properties worldwide remain vacant.
Landlords and property managers waste hours dealing with these challenges: manually coordinating bookings, chasing late payments, navigating legal requirements, and adjusting to market fluctuations. You will be the first point of contact with our clients. You will spend a lot of time on the phone opening doors and collaborating as an Account Executive to sell FreedHome to new clients - Property Managers. You’ll have a solid set of leads to start with, so there’s no need for business development. This role is ideal for someone who is commercial from the start, with a hunger to close deals.
In a relatively short time, after a quick 7-day training, you’ll dive straight into outreach and start bringing in the numbers.
