Business Development Lead / Representative (WFH/Contract/Part-time)
Lilymk Industries (LMK) is a regional marketing and service company including distribution marketing and technical service. Active for more than 10 years, we offer complete industrial marketing & service in the whole supply chain to our contracted partners in the Aluminium Industry, Steel Industry, Chemicals Industry, and Machinery Industry. We are a dedicated and professional industrial service provider with a track record of establishing and maintaining long-term business relationships. Our headquarters has successfully aligned with the top three in each industry we’re dedicated to over the past years. Our regional offices and operations span across China, India, and Indonesia as of 2024, with each region operating semi-autonomously with their own corporate functions including Commercial, Finance, HR, Compliance & Legal, Customer Service, and Operations.
Role Brief:
The ideal candidate should have the interest, passion, and requisite skill sets to establish new accounts and develop business channels. A track record of making cold calls and marketing from scratch would be a great plus.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Establishing sales strategies and developing new business opportunities in the Industrial Brakes Industry, Aluminium Manufacturing Industry, Steel Industry, and Air Conditioner Manufacturing Industry, assisting in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Formulating a 1-3 month sales action plan in line with group direction.
- Executing the marketing plan and conducting meetings with measurable results for progress.
- Providing periodical commercial reporting to the regional commercial manager and local executive team on business development activities, plans, and progress.
- Communicating, sharing, and collaborating with all overseas branches on each business project.
- Ensuring compliance with Company Policies & Ethics.
Preferred attributes for candidates:
- Maturity with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability is a MUST; age over 28 is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Honesty and a down-to-earth personal character are essential.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Relevant experience with a track record in sales and business development in any manufacturing factory unit, preferably in the Industrial Brakes Industry, Aluminium Manufacturing Industry, Air Conditioner Manufacturing Industry, Wind Power Industry, or related fields.
- Result-oriented, self-disciplined, focused, and dedicated, with a proven ability to work independently to achieve results in business development.
- Ability to initiate business relationships from scratch, with a capacity to successfully make cold calls when needed. Resourcefulness with excellent commercial and entrepreneurial flair is critical for success in this role.
- An accomplished self-starter capable of leading the entire cycle of the commercial process from acquisition to fulfillment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical, with a proven track record in managing various interpersonal relationships and issues.
- Good influencing skills with a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
- A University Degree from a recognized institution is a plus.
- Existing business pipelines and connections are advantageous.
Important Points:
- The role focuses on industrial B2B sales & marketing, and successful experience working independently in this environment is critical.
- We do not require our colleagues to sit in an office; you are encouraged to work flexibly, including WFH, Contractual, and Part-time arrangements.
- Good English communication skills are recommended; however, if you can achieve results with an interpreter, we are glad to assist.
- The role is intended as a long-term position, including maintenance and after-sales service; we will discuss plans and salary based on the candidate's criteria.
