Are you interested in cloud computing? We have a role you might find interesting. The AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team works with early stage startup companies to help them deploy the best, most scalable, and most secure architectures while spending as little time and money as possible. We’re looking for technical builders who enjoy helping startups grow, and who will build enduring relationships as trusted advisors.

In this role you’ll spend time directly with customers and also have opportunities to keep your skills fresh across the broad set of AWS services. You’ll contribute to content and events, and advocate for startups with our product teams to ensure we build the right products for the startups you work with.

• Engage directly with startup customers to provide technical advocacy as they build their products in the cloud. Ensure that they are spending as little time and money as possible doing so
• Create plans, in conjunction with other members of customer account teams, to define how you will help your customers with their cloud needs
• Share your technical knowledge broadly by participating in startup-focused, one-to-few and one-to-many sessions with larger groups of customers
• Work with other teams at AWS (e.g. marketing, training) to contribute to the creation of content that can be delivered to the broader startup community at scale (e.g. online videos and other digital content)
• Experience in specific technology domain areas like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics
• Experience with one or more of: cloud migration, application modernization, or database modernization
• Understanding of common architectural patterns and cloud-native design principles
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives involving cross-functional collaboration, with strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Business fluency in Bahasa Indonesia
• Experience across multiple domains: application development, databases, infrastructure, networking, and/or security
• Familiarity with modernization patterns (e.g., re-platforming, refactoring, containerization) and database migration strategies
• Curious and have experimented with AI and emerging technologies—and how they can augment human builders and drive business outcomes—with experience helping customers evaluate or implement AI/ML solutions
• 8+ years of experience architecting, migrating, or building solutions on cloud platforms, with hands-on experience with AWS services
