Job Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential sales opportunities for the company. This role focuses on the initial stages of the sales process, including researching potential leads, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to convert prospects into qualified leads for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities.
    • Use CRM tools, social media, and other platforms to source new leads.
    • Develop and implement lead generation strategies.
  2. Initial Contact:
    • Reach out to prospects through various communication channels, including phone, email, and social media.
    • Schedule initial meetings or calls to introduce the company's products or services.
  3. Qualification of Prospects:
    • Assess prospects' needs and challenges through effective questioning.
    • Determine if prospects meet the criteria for a qualified lead.
    • Gather and record relevant information about prospects.
  4. Relationship Building:
    • Maintain regular communication with potential clients to nurture relationships.
    • Provide valuable information and resources to keep prospects engaged.
  5. Collaboration with Sales Team:
    • Work closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads.
    • Provide detailed information to assist the sales team in closing deals.
  6. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system.
    • Prepare reports on lead generation activities, prospect engagement, and conversion rates.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Experience in sales, business development, or a related field is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Good organizational and time-management skills.
  6. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Proactive and self-motivated.
  8. Ability to handle rejection and persist in the face of challenges.
  9. Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
