About the Role of Warehouse Assistant

As a Warehouse Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. From picking and packing orders to maintaining a tidy and safe workspace, you'll be at the heart of ensuring smooth processes and excellent service. The role also offers hands-on work with special projects and the opportunity to develop key skills in a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Assistant

• Warehouse Organisation: Picking, packing, and dispatching orders with precision and care.
• Stock Management: Assisting with stock building, stock takes, and maintaining accurate records in the warehouse system.
• Team Support: Collaborating on special projects, including building and packaging bespoke orders.
• Machinery and Safety: Loading and unloading delivery vehicles (forklift experience desirable), cleaning machinery, and adhering to PPE requirements.
• General Housekeeping: Ensuring the warehouse is clean, tidy, and well-organised.

What We're Looking For in a Warehouse Assistant

• Warehouse Experience: Proven experience in a similar warehouse role, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Forklift Knowledge: Ideally, you hold a forklift licence or have previous forklift experience.
• Team Player: Friendly, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Problem Solver: A motivated and organised individual who can adapt to changing priorities.
• Skills: A clean UK driving licence and proficiency in basic IT systems (e.g., MS Office).
