Teaching Assistant

Job Role: Teaching Assistant

Location: Bridlington, YO16

Pay: from £95 to £110 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

1. Supporting students with their learning activities, both individually and in groups.
2. Assisting the teacher in preparing classroom resources and materials.
3. Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN) where appropriate.
5. Supervising students during break times and other non-classroom activities.
6. Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.
7. Following school policies and procedures.
8. Providing feedback to the teacher on student progress.

1. Experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable).
2. A genuine passion for supporting student learning.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
6. Two satisfactory professional references from the past two years.
7. A current Enhanced DBS check registered with the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
