Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and support students in the absence of their regular class teacher, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  2. Deliver pre-planned lessons and help students stay on track with their work.
  3. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
  4. Provide support to students with their learning, offering guidance and encouragement where needed.
  5. Ensure that students follow the school's policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  6. Report on student progress and behaviour to relevant staff, assisting in their development and tracking.

Requirements:
  1. Experience working with young people (in a classroom, sports setting, or similar).
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  4. Proactive and adaptable, able to handle a variety of school settings and age groups.
  5. No formal teaching qualifications required, but experience in a supervisory or support role is a bonus.
