Job Title: Food Technology Teacher
Location: Horley
Contract: Temporary (Monday to Wednesday, from Easter)

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant educational institution from Easter. This is a temporary assignment, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students through practical lessons, fostering a love for food technology and culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality practical lessons in Food Technology, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
  2. Develop and implement engaging curriculum materials that cater to a diverse range of abilities and interests.
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  4. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour and respect.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and participate in extracurricular activities.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo a new DBS check.
  3. Right to work in the UK.
  4. Strong knowledge and experience in teaching Food Technology.
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  6. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
