Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Low Voltage Electrical Equipment

Area to be covered: South East & South London (Oxford - Kent)

Remuneration: £30,000-£40,000 + Commission and end of year £1,000 Bonus (Comm. 1.5% between 70-100% of target, 3% over 100%)

Benefits: £500 per month car allowance & benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Low Voltage Electrical Equipment will involve:

1. Field sales position selling a distributed range of low voltage electrical equipment including consumer units, main switch, RCBO, MCB, RCD, surge protection devices, industrial plugs & sockets, and rotary isolator switches.
2. All of your time will be spent selling into electrical wholesalers.
3. Inheriting an area with a small turnover circa £150k tasked with growing the area to £400k in 2024.
4. Order values circa £1k-£2.5k.
5. 4 days a week on the road, circa 6 visits per day.
6. 1 day working from home/administration.

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Low Voltage Electrical Equipment with:

1. Must have worked for or sold to electrical wholesalers.
2. Proven track record of sales/business development.
3. Demonstrable track record in new business and account management.
4. Personable, team player, driven and enthusiastic.
