This super family with 3 children aged 2, 5 and 7 years-old are looking for a kind, warm but fun Nanny who is able to care for and keep up with their energy over this summer holidays, July and August!
Someone who is happy to muck in and have sole-charge of the children whilst both parents are working hard. A nanny who as happy going to the woods in the rain as much as doing crafts at the kitchen table and baking muffins – the children all absolutely love doing these things!
The self-contained accommodation is a separate cottage in the garden with its own entrance, a kitchen, living room and bathroom.
The role is for Monday to Friday, 54.5 hours each week. The family are away for 2 weeks of the summer hols so this is a 7 week position.
Nursery duties for the children and preparing their meals; cooking and baking with the children too. The family also includes a lovely dog who adores walks in the beautiful countryside surrounding the village. As the family have a swimming pool in the garden and the children love to swim, a confident swimmer would be needed.
The family would love a Nanny who is proactive and has great initiative – someone who can see what needs doing before being asked! A nanny who is happy to muck into family life and keep the 3 children happy, supporting their routines, encouraging reading and lots of play inside and out!
Home is full of character with an Aga to cook on and a lovely English countryside garden, perfect for the children to explore in.
This position is for a SOLE-CHARGE nanny supporting both working parents, so good experience nannying before with other families is definitely wanted. The children are full of beans and giggles and very much look forward to meeting you!

Location of the job: Fernhurst, West Sussex.
Minimum experience Level for this job: 2 years minimum Nanny experience and caring for pre-school and school aged children.
Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Childcare.
Hours of work: 7.30am to 6pm or 8.30am to 7.30pm.
Days required: Monday to Friday.
Pets at home: 1 lovely dog.
Driving required: Yes – a car is available to use off duty.
Lots of child friendly outings on the doorstep and further afield especially in the school holidays!
Job Start Date: ASAP – July 2025 (the family are away for 2 weeks of the summer hols).
Pay: live-in hourly rate £12.50 p/h or negotiable for the right person.

This is temporary, full-time, sole-charge, live-in Nanny position with such a lovely family who are keen to find someone to join their happy crew. The family are also looking for a permanent nanny from September.
