This role offers an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for ensuring the organisation's tax compliance, managing tax reporting and optimising tax efficiency. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Tax law and accounting.

• Ensure the company complies with UK tax laws, including the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and other statutory tax filings.
• Prepare accurate tax provisions for financial statements in line with UK and international accounting standards.
• Advise internal stakeholders on the tax implications of various business decisions, transactions, and projects.
• Assist in tax planning initiatives to minimise the company's tax liabilities within legal frameworks.
• Manage interactions with HMRC on tax audits, inquiries, or other tax-related matters.
• Work with external auditors to ensure that the tax components of audits are accurate and compliant.
• Help improve and streamline tax processes and systems within the organisation.

• Strong technical knowledge of tax law and accounting principles.
• Analytical skills for identifying tax risks and opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex tax matters to non-specialists.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA).
• 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of UK corporate tax, VAT, and tax reporting requirements.
