Oliver James are partnered with a multi-professional services firm in assisting with their growth of their Technology Risk & IT Audit capability. We are interested in connecting with candidates based in the London / South East region to discuss Managerial roles paying up to c£65,000 basic salaries excluding benefits.

Our client's portfolio includes some of the most interesting and prestigious organisations that operate within the financial services (e.g. Fintech, insurance, building societies), corporates (e.g. technology, manufacturing and automotive) and the public sector (e.g. healthcare, social housing, education and local / central government).

As a Technology Risk / IT Audit Manager you'll be:
  1. Helping your clients develop their digital strategy by leading teams that provide specialist risk assurance and advice.
  2. Staying current with the latest technology trends, leading risk management practices, and industry sector issues.
  3. Responsible for the ongoing management of your client portfolio, including the development of plans and quality assurance of all aspects of the work and reporting.
  4. Performing risk management processes and developing commercial arrangements.
  5. Shaping our future by leading innovation streams that build future products, services, and solutions.
  6. Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, and identifying opportunities where we could assist them.
  7. Developing proposals that demonstrate our capability to meet new and existing client needs.

You will make decisions and take actions that are based on our values and will deliver purposeful impact where it counts.

To be successful in this role you'll be:
  1. Hold at least one or more of the following certifications: CISA, CISM, CIPM, CISSP, CCSP, CHECK, CREST, AWS.
  2. Passionate to continue your career in technology risk, audit, cyber, risk management.
  3. Business and commercial minded in your approach.
  4. Able to offer a strong and compelling view of technology and risk management.
  5. Confident with excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  6. Able to work autonomously, pro-actively, and effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Have demonstrable experience in identifying opportunities to partner with clients and successfully deliver these.
Personal and Professional Qualities
  1. Professionally qualified and able to demonstrate expertise in a specialist field.
  2. Relevant experience within a technology, cyber, audit, and/or risk management role.
  3. Digitally literate and able to use tools such as Microsoft Office 365.
  4. In depth understanding of technology trends and industry sector issues.
