We’re looking for an experienced Finance Director to help drive our growth, keep us financially sharp, and make a real impact.

This isn’t your average FD role. We need someone commercially savvy who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the day-to-day running of finance—because in a growing business, everyone pitches in. You’ll be a key player in shaping our financial strategy, optimising our operations, and supporting our long-term vision. What You’ll Be Doing

• Owning our financial strategy – ensuring we scale in a way that’s sustainable, profitable, and aligned with our long-term vision.
• Leading financial planning & analysis – providing accurate forecasting, budgeting, and data-driven insights to support smart decision-making.
• Keeping cash flow healthy – optimising working capital, ensuring financial resilience, and securing funding when required.
• Driving operational efficiency – reviewing and improving financial processes to reduce costs, minimise risk, and boost performance.
• Managing financial compliance – ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and financial reporting standards.
• Optimising revenue and cost structures – identifying opportunities to improve pricing models, reduce unnecessary spend, and increase profitability.
• Providing commercial insight – working closely with other teams to assess business opportunities, understand risks, and support growth initiatives.
• Building a high-performing finance function – leading and developing our small but mighty finance team to keep things running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• A seasoned finance leader – you'll be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid experience in a Finance Director (or similar) role.
• A commercial thinker – you've got a track record of balancing financial discipline with business growth. You'll be innovative and interested in the commercial story behind our numbers.
• A hands-on operator – we’re a small, collaborative team, so while you’ll be leading from the front, you won’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves and pitch in on finance admin and operations as needed.
• A strong communicator – able to translate financials into plain English for non-finance teams and compelling stories for external stakeholders.
• An adaptable problem solver – you thrive in a fast-paced, scaling business. Experience in proptech, insurtech or fintech would be a big plus.
