Job summary

An innovative firm is seeking an Interim Management Accountant to support the Head of Finance in a part-time role. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work, primarily remote, with occasional travel to London. Job description

Interim Management Accountant - PART TIME

Looking to connect with immediately available Management Accountants with a strong technical background to support the Head of Finance.

  • Day rate: £300 - £320 (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)
  • Hybrid: Primarily remote, with occasional travel to London
  • Duration: 6 months

Duties:

  • Month-End Reporting: Preparation of month-end journals, schedules, and reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, depreciation, and payroll.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations: Managing reconciliations between the business and its subsidiaries.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Preparing reconciliations across the business.
  • Financial Reporting: Producing Actual vs. Budget reports for review with the senior leadership team.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Assisting AP/AR Coordinators as needed.
  • Audit Support: Working closely with external accountants on statutory audits.
  • Process Improvement: Assisting the Head of Finance with ongoing projects and operational enhancements.

Experience & Skills:

  • Finalist/NQ ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and FinTech tools (e.g., Soldo).
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Proactive and naturally inquisitive - always looking to improve processes.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to be involved in operational tasks.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is essential.
